It’s not too early to start making plans to go to the 2012 NACR
at Huntington Lake.
All activities will be close to the Huntington Lake launching
area on the northeast side of the lake.
Accommodations include camping at US Forest Service
campgrounds, and cabins, condos, and Inn rooms to rent.
For location of lodging and camping accommodations, see the
Huntington map
The Condos are mostly
2 or 3 bedrooms and reservations can already be made.

Camping is available through the US Forest Service.
There are several campgrounds close to the activities.
Reservations can be made 180 days (6 months) prior to the
arrival date.
(Example,
if you want to arrive on July 5th, you can begin
making reservations at 7 am PST on January 5th.
(A word to the wise – the campgrounds fill up fast –
don’t wait). In the
recommended order of choice there are:
Deer Creek
--
this is the closest campground to the activities, etc., but it
will probably be full with campers who have started their
reservation early.
College
–
This campground is very close to the launching area and
activities, however, it is VERY primitive with pit toilets and
no paved areas so dirtier than the others.
It will do if Kinnikinnick or Catavee are both full.
Rancheria
–
This campground is being rebuilt in 2011, but is supposed to be
re-opened in 2012.
It is a little over a mile from the launching area, so
you will probably want to have a vehicle to drive back and
forth.
